Music Engineer
Location: Independence, Missouri

About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Music Engineer to join our professional recording studio. The ideal candidate is proficient in multiple digital audio workstations (DAWs), knowledgeable about studio equipment, and has a strong ability to attract and retain clients. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage both technical and client-facing responsibilities while representing the studio in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Record, mix, and master audio sessions across multiple music genres.
- Operate and maintain professional studio equipment, including microphones, preamps, audio interfaces, and outboard gear.
- Work with industry-standard DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and FL Studio.
- Actively generate new client leads and promote studio services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Represent the studio in a professional manner and contribute to its growth and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in major DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio).
- Strong understanding of recording, mixing, and mastering techniques.
- Experience with professional studio equipment and signal flow.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Availability during the week with flexibility for sessions and client needs.
- Sales or marketing experience preferred but not required.

Compensation: Beginning $20 an hour with appropriate raises based on job performance.
