Smokeshow Entertainment is an established artist development and management firm representing emerging and established artists in the country music industry. Subgenres of artists represented include country rock, red dirt, traditional, southern rock, and Americana. Our focus is to build long-term careers for our artists through strategic bookings, strong relationship building, internal and external collaboration and professional execution. We're looking for a motivated Booking Agent who understands the music business and knows how to build lasting relationships and ongoing opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
-Secure live performance bookings (venues, promoters, festivals, tours, corporate and private events).
-Pitch artists to venues and promoters via email, phone, and industry platforms.
-Negotiate performance fees, contracts, and booking terms.
-Coordinate show logistics with venues, promoters, and artists.
-Maintain accurate booking calendars, contracts and follow-ups.
-Build and manage long-term relationships within the live music industry
-Identify new booking opportunities and market trends for represented artists
Qualifications
-minimum 1 year experience in music booking, talent buying, talent development or management, or live events
-Strong understanding and/or experience with nationally touring artists in the live music industry
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail
-Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
-Proficiency with tools such as Gmail, Google Workspace, Google Calendar/Docs/Sheets, CRM systems such as Podio, and other booking platforms as we expend or the willingness and ability to learn and execute within these systems quickly and efficiently
-Passion for music and development
