Online Music Teacher — One-to-One Instruction (Independent Contractor)
Craft Music | Fully Remote (U.S.-based)
Craft Music is a musician-led online marketplace connecting students across the country with exceptional, experienced music teachers for high-quality one-to-one instruction.
We are building a national platform designed to expand access to serious music education while supporting working musicians—performers, composers, songwriters, and producers—who want to teach on their own terms.
This opportunity is ideal for teachers who value artistic autonomy, professional standards, and a thoughtfully curated teaching environment.
About the Marketplace Model
Craft Music operates as a teacher-first marketplace, not a traditional employer.
Teachers on our platform:
- Set their own rates
- Choose their availability
- Teach using their own curriculum and approach
- Decide which students they accept
- Maintain full independence while benefiting from national visibility and infrastructure
We handle marketing, student discovery, scheduling tools, and payment processing—so teachers can focus on teaching and music.
