Part Time/Freelance DJ Contractor
Job Description
Millennium Productions, a company owned and operated by artists, is a rapidly growing wedding DJ, Video, and Design company. Millennium prides itself on giving our clients truly unique events to celebrate their special occasion. Our clients have entrusted us with providing DJ and emcee services for their ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, and private parties.
As a DJ with us, you will be responsible for creating and delivering an exceptional and diverse musical experience for our guests. This includes mixing tracks, reading the crowd and adjusting the music accordingly, and working with your couples and event planners to understand the details, timeline and overall feel of the event.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of various music genres and a keen ability to read a crowd and play the right music to keep them engaged and entertained. In addition, you should have experience with DJ equipment, including mixers, microphones, light fixtures, as well as a professional attitude and appearance.
We are looking for a DJ who can play a variety of music styles, such as Top 40, Hip-Hop, House, EDM, country and more. You should be comfortable working with a wide range of audiences, including corporate events, weddings, and private parties.

Experience
**All experience is not required, but additional unpaid training will be provided and required
- 1+ years experience with A/V equipment
- Directing and communicating with large groups of people
- Familiar with various genres of music
**Millennium will provide a custom tailored training program for all incoming Djs
Responsibilities
- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
- Individual, reliable transportation to venues
- Maintain professionalism in dress, planning, timeliness, and work both in front of clients and behind the scenes (Millennium Dress Code - Black suit, black dress shirt, and black shoes)
- Meet with clients in advance to work through event details
- Proper setup of Millennium gear to meet the standard of quality we expect
- Operating and maintaining DJ equipment
- Arranging and coordinating music for events
Qualifications
- Weekend availability required for consideration
- Ability to work as part of a team, interact effectively with others, and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with a "no task is too small" attitude
- Demonstrated ability to quickly think through the objective in a fast-paced environment
- A desire to ever-improve

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $300.00 per day
