Winterhalter Music is seeking a new Studio Manager

You must align with our mission and values and love music yourself (previous musical experience desired) and be able to passionately discuss the benefits of our lessons over the phone and via email to potential customers.
In addition you must be: hard working, diligent, honest, caring, and a quick learner. Also someone with a bright, upbeat demeanor, who will be kind, and understanding with our customers and teachers is a must. Amazing communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail is necessary.
Preference is given to someone who lives in the Washington, DC metro area and/ or has familiarity with the traffic patterns in the DMV for lesson scheduling.
Tasks will include:
1. Registration and scheduling of new families
2. Metrics
3. Long range/ strategic planning/ possible new teacher recruitment
4. Record Keeping/ form and document creation/ maintenance
5. Help with recital organization/ planning
6. Teacher management- emails, calls, texts
7. Managing our inbox and helping families
8. Meeting and communicating regularly with our CEO .
9. Preparing and sending invoices via MyMusicStaff
10. Answering questions about invoices
11. Running autopays
12. Preparing the monthly payroll
13. Updating Quickbooks Online with business expenses
14. Helping us to grow our outreach so more children can have the amazing gift of music
The work will be remote and you can create a flexible schedule. You must be able to reply to emails twice each business day and have regular calls with the CEO about every 1 week or as often as necessary.
Hours per week are about 4-5 on a typical week. Hours are increased on the 1st and 15th of the month for autopays, payroll, and invoices. The week before Labor Day will require an availability of 20 hours and mid August through mid September will require 5-10 hours per week.
Applicants must be looking for a long-term position. I am looking for someone to stay for many years and grow with this role, and a one year contract is required. This is a contractor role with starting pay $23-27/ hour and raises given for stellar performance and for helping us grow the business.
