We are seeking to fill multiple part-time music teacher and substitute music teacher positions--esp. in Violin, Piano, Cello, Guitar, Drums, and Voice.

Music Teacher Job Description:
Positions are part-time and paid by the hour. Hourly rates are competitive and commensurate with educational credentials and professional experience. Average rate is $34/hr (can be higher or lower, depending on credentials). Music teachers are employees (W2) and qualify for a wide variety of benefits, including company health insurance and sick time, when teaching 25+ hours per week.
Requirements:
We use a differentiated compensation model that accommodates individuals with a broad range of professional expertise, from current undergraduate students to university professors.
Candidates for the music lesson teacher position must have
- teaching experience on their chosen instrument, especially with students ages 5 to 15.
- be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, majoring in music, OR
- have completed an undergraduate or graduate program, majoring in music, OR
- have minored in music and/or have significant professional experience/expertise in music performance or music education
