We are searching for motivated, talented, and experienced individuals to join Arts & Learning Conservatory this fall as Teaching Artists! With theatre and music classes across Orange County, we offer opportunities to connect with communities and bring the arts to all students. Responsibilities
- Teach students acting, singing, and dancing basics.
- Effectively and safely lead a high-energy classroom environment.
- Implement pre-determined curriculum and learning goals in a fun and inclusive manner.
- Direct, choreograph, and block short productions at our partner school sites.
- Regularly communicate with a team of assistant directors, costumers, producers, supervisors, and more.
- Create ample opportunity for a diverse group of students to find success in their classroom roles.
- Foster a learning environment that encourages creativity and confidence.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the dramatic or music arts
- Experience working with elementary and secondary-level children
- A friendly and vibrant demeanor
- Organizational excellence
- Availability in afternoons and evenings
- Bachelors or Associates Degree (preferred)
- 1+ year of teaching experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
