Church Pianist Needed – Caribbean Church (Canarsie, Brooklyn)
A vibrant Caribbean church in the Canarsie area of Brooklyn is seeking a talented and dependable Pianist to join our music ministry.
Position Details
- Compensation: $120–$200 per service
- Service Time: Sundays, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Rehearsals: Two rehearsals per month (bi-weekly)
- Location: Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY
Requirements
- Must be able to play by ear.
- Experience accompanying congregational worship, choirs, and praise teams.
- Strong knowledge of Gospel, Caribbean Gospel, and Contemporary Worship music.
- Ability to follow worship leaders and adapt to spontaneous changes during service.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Previous church musician experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide piano accompaniment for Sunday worship services.
- Attend two rehearsals per month.
- Support the worship team and congregation through music.
- Work closely with church leadership and ministry team.
