The Preschool at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church is seeking a warm, energetic and engaging Early Childhood Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year beginning in August 2026.
This position is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., with opportunities to extend hours before and/or after school for full-time employment. Benefits are available for full-time employees.
Developmentally appropriate instruments and classroom props are provided. Professional development and instructional materials using an evidence-based early childhood music curriculum are also provided.
Position Responsibilities
- Teach developmentally appropriate music classes during the school day
- Plan and lead music instruction for multiple age levels (1–6 years old)
- Lead music during weekly chapel services
- Prepare students for and participate in annual age-level performances
- Assist with daily carpool duties

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Music or Music Education
- Prior experience teaching music to young children
- Ability to play piano and/or guitar
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.11 - $26.63 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
