Excellent Opportunity for Music Educators!
We are a vibrant, growing, local congregation of the Global Methodist Church looking for an experienced Traditional Worship Director with a passion for using music to usher people into the presence of God!
The Traditional Worship Director works with the pastors to plan and lead traditional worship services and events, selecting music to coordinate with sermon topics and themes. Additional duties include rehearsing and conducting the church choir, directing accompanists, and sometimes subbing as the pianist while leading worship from the piano.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in traditional worship music, an excellent vocalist and pianist, a great team player, a dynamic worship leader, friendly, outgoing, resilient, and passionate about music in worship. A Bachelor's degree is required with a preferred major in music or music education.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
