Position: Music Together® Teacher
Location: 901 N. 96th Street, Seattle, WA 98103
Anticipated Start Date: September 2026
This position requires the teacher to be on site for Saturday classes.
Requirements: B. Mus or similar, experience working with students ages 0 - 5 is preferred.
Compensation: $55 - $75 per hour
Position Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic musician to join our team as a Music Together® teacher to provide high-quality instruction to students at Music Center. Primary responsibilities include: create lesson plans using Music Together® curriculum, lead Mixed Ages classes of students ages 0 - 5 in songs, movement and instrument play to introduce basic music concepts, participate in Song Workshops and regular meetings with Music Together® faculty, and maintain clear and consistent communication with families, faculty and staff to support student and program success. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent, experience working with students ages 0 - 5 is preferred. Music Together® Teacher Training will be provided during the first month, followed by 3 months of apprenticeship alongside the Music Together® Director or Assistant Director. After the apprenticeship, teaching hours will be Saturday mornings.
