CanKnowPiano connects qualified piano teachers with students looking for lessons across the US. We handle finding and matching students; you handle the teaching. You set your own rates, schedule and methods, with no required curriculum.
What you'll do
- Teach piano to students of all ages and levels
- Communicate reliably with students and parents
- Manage your own schedule, lesson structure and repertoire
What you'll need
- Prior piano teaching experience at any level
- A home studio, a travel radius for in-home lessons, or a reliable online setup
- Professional reliability and consistency
How pay works
- You set your own hourly rate. Teachers typically charge $50–$100/hr depending on experience, location and format.
- For each new student we match you with, the student's payment for their first lesson goes to CanKnowPiano as our matching commission.
- Every lesson after that, the student pays you directly, at your rate, with no commission or ongoing cut.
