Responsibilities:
- Perform as a core member of the violin section, contributing your talent to powerful renditions of beloved video game soundtracks from series like Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, and Super Mario Bros.
- Collaborate with the Concertmaster, Assistant Concertmaster, and fellow musicians to deliver performances that capture the drama, adventure, and beauty of gaming’s most iconic scores.
- Play a key role in our full symphony orchestra rehearsals, perfecting every note and ensuring your section’s synchronization with the full orchestra for dynamic, high-impact concerts.
- Maintain a professional, team-oriented attitude, working closely with the orchestra to achieve artistic excellence and elevate the overall concert experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical proficiency on the violin with experience performing in professional or semi-professional orchestras.
- Ability to perform both traditional and contemporary orchestral arrangements, with a willingness to explore new musical styles and techniques.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a dedication to achieving a unified sound as part of the violin section.
- Passion for video game music and an appreciation for how it enhances storytelling and player immersion is not required, but highly appreciated!
