As the conductor of this groudbreaking group, you will fuse the power of a full orchestra with the cutting-edge sounds of the gaming industry, captivating both classical music lovers and gaming enthusiasts alike!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a full symphony orchestra and choir, performing live renditions of celebrated video game soundtracks.
- Collaborate with the music director to ensure authentic representation of each score while infusing your own creative energy.
- Lead rehearsals with precision and passion, bringing out the best of our talented performers.
- Engage audiences with dynamic performances that include your own personal visual flair!
- Champion innovative programming that highlights some of the biggest classics of the gaming world (from "The Legend of Zelda" and "Super Mario Bros." to "Halo" and "Final Fantasy")!
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in conducting orchestras, with a deep passion for music and culture.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to inspire musicians and connect with diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of video game music (and related genres, such as film music) is optional, but highly welcome!
