Job Title: Furnace Operator & Dent Remover
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely performs a variety of tasks to ensure compliance with established job standards.
- Routinely inspects assigned work.
- Properly and carefully handle all parts and components.
- Inspects valve cases for dents and remove any that may have occurred.
- Load and unload the furnace.
- Cleans and bright dip parts.
- Clean the potash tank, change the acid, and degrease the parts.
- Safely and carefully handle stock.
- Properly dispose of or recycle any scrap material generated by any assigned production operation.
- Required to maintain an appropriate, clean, and safe work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Regular Attendance.
- Manufacturing Process Aptitude.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Handling, organizing, lifting, and moving completed work assignments to subsequent production operations or designated storage locations.
- Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.
- Ability to safely lift up to 45 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to sit or stand for 8 consecutive hours.
- Ability to perform repetitive work.
- Exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise, and vibration.
