The Lima campus of The Ohio State University seeks a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Music, for a one-year appointment beginning Autumn 2023 through Summer 2024. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the teaching mission of The Ohio State University and a background in teaching both lecture and performance-based courses. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in music and music appreciation such as: therapeutic drumming, world music, history of music, group piano instruction, or other courses according to the instructor’s expertise.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Music or an equivalent; ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Desired Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Music or equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team; energetic and enthusiastic self-motivator.
