Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced piano instructor to join our team:

Piano instructor – Specializing in a focus on early childhood education and teaching students ages 4-8 piano, but also comfortable taking on all ages teaching up to an intermediate level. Someone who could encourage singing while playing piano would be a bonus but not necessary.

Qualifications:

2 or 4 year music degree preferred (strong candidates without a degree but have 2 years experience or more in music education will be considered).
Proficiency in the specified instruments and styles.
Ability to teach students of all ages and skill levels.
Excellent communication skills—must respond to emails, calls, and texts within one business day.
Availability for at least two days per week, with a minimum of four teaching hours per day.
Outgoing, engaging personality with a passion for music education.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized, high-quality music instruction in a fun and encouraging manner.
Prepare students for recitals, concerts, and other events.
Maintain professional boundaries while creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
Communicate effectively with students and families regarding scheduling, progress, and upcoming events.
Be punctual, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
Maintain accurate records of lessons and student progress.
