Overview

We are seeking a passionate Music Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in utilizing music as a therapeutic tool to address various physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals.

Responsibilities

Conduct music therapy sessions for individuals and groups in diverse settings such as outpatient clinics, behavioral health facilities, hospice care, and dementia care units
Develop and implement music therapy treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client
Utilize dance therapy techniques in conjunction with music therapy interventions
Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes for each therapy session
Work with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other special needs to improve their quality of life through music therapy

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy or related field
Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC)
Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, behavioral health issues, and hospice or dementia care
Proficiency in coding for medical billing purposes is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,355.00 - $63,720.00 per year
