Overview

We are seeking a passionate Music Therapist to join our team. As a Music Therapist, you will use music interventions to address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals.

Duties

Conduct individual and group music therapy sessions
Incorporate various music therapy techniques such as dance therapy, art therapy, and behavioral therapy
Work with individuals with disabilities, children, and individuals struggling with addiction or dementia
Provide counseling and support through music to enhance emotional well-being
Implement group therapy sessions focusing on different therapeutic goals
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy or related field
Certification in Music Therapy
Experience working with diverse populations including people with disabilities, children, and individuals with behavioral health needs
Familiarity with dementia care and addiction counseling is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,355.00 - $63,720.00 per year
