Duties

Perform live music during theater productions, rehearsals, and special events.
Collaborate with directors, choreographers, and other musicians to create cohesive performances.
Interpret musical scores and adapt as necessary to suit the production's needs.
Participate in rehearsals to refine musical arrangements and ensure seamless integration with the performance.
Maintain instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal condition for performances.
Attend meetings and discussions regarding production elements, providing input on musical aspects.
Stay updated on industry trends and new music styles that can enhance performances.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a musician with a strong portfolio of performances.
Proficiency in one or more musical instruments; vocal skills are a plus.
Background or interest in theater is highly desirable.
Ability to read sheet music and adapt to various musical styles.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by production schedules.
