Job Overview

We are seeking a fun, energetic Music Teacher to lead interactive, play-based music classes for young children. The ideal candidate loves working with kids and uses music, movement, and rhythm to create a joyful learning environment.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging music classes for children ages 0–6
Introduce basic musical concepts through songs, rhythm, movement, and play
Use age-appropriate instruments (shakers, drums, bells, etc.)
Encourage participation, confidence, and creativity
Set up and clean up instruments and materials
Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Communicate with parents and Hoboken Hideout staff as needed

Qualifications

Experience teaching music and/or working with young children
Musical background (voice, instruments, early childhood music, or similar)
Energetic, patient, and reliable
Comfortable leading small groups of young children
Early childhood education experience a plus (not required)
