Overview

Harmony Home’s mission is to provide exceptional in-home music lessons while demonstrating the love of Christ through our daily interactions with our students and their families.

You MUST have a reliable mode of transportation, pass a background check, and be willing to drive up to 30 minutes. We try and keep travel to a minimum for our teachers by pairing them with students that are close to them. Expect to drive 20 minutes to a student.

This specific job posting is for a position in the Spring Hill TN area.

Responsibilities

Communicate in a timely way with both admin and students.
Arrive on time for lessons.
Attend recitals if your students are participating. We host recitals twice a year at the end of each semester. It is our expectation that you will be there if your student is participating.
Be sure to log your lessons accurately as to not overcharge a student. We will clearly explain how to do this in our hiring process.
As a contractor, you have total control of your schedule and complete control over how many students you'd like to work with. We ask that you be open to a minimum of 10 students. Our students get attached to their instructors, we are looking for someone that is in it for the long haul!
You are also responsible for planning lessons and using whatever curriculum you'd like.
We will provide you with resources that will help make your lessons fun and engaging.

Qualifications

Being great with kids is a must!
Must be responsible and a good communicator.
If you have a bachelors in music or are earning one that is a plus.
Being a multi instrumentalist is also a plus.
