Responsible for all on-site productions for School of Music, Cleveland State University (CSU) and external group use. Conducts all technical and computerized aspects of School of Music events, such as concerts, recitals, faculty and guest performances, and lectures. Ensures facilities and technical equipment inventory are maintained, secure, and comply with safety standards. Prepares budget requests for maintenance, repairs and purchases. Trains and supervises student staff. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree preferably in arts management, music, business administration, or a related field.
One (1) year of experience in theater and/or public event staging procedures, techniques, including using current industry standard digital technologies.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Music, Arts Management or a related field.
Three (3) years of experience in theater and/or public event staging procedures, including using current industry standard digital technologies, with emphasis in stage management, theatrical lighting, and production management.
Experience with special event scheduling software and in higher education.

Ability to train and supervise staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Proficient with computer-controlled systems and equipment including Tri-Caster, light programing, and CAD
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, special event and scheduling software (Ad Astra, EMS, 25Live, etc.).
