Director of Music Ministry: Saint Matthew Parish in Akron, Ohio and Our Lady of Victory Parish in Tallmadge, Ohio, neighboring parishes, have an opening for a full-time Director of Music Ministry. Together, the parishes share approximately 1,600 households and a integrated schedule of liturgies. Responsibilities would include selection of liturgical music, providing keyboard accompaniment, directing and collaborating with other musicians, as well as choirs, cantors, and instrumentalists. A Bachelor of Music degree is preferable, and familiarity with Catholic liturgical rites and traditions is necessary. Salary commensurate with experience and education; benefits are available.
