About the Role
Kingdom Harvest BWC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Drummer to join our worship ministry. We are committed to worshiping in excellence and pleasing God in all we do. Our musicians are called to serve with a unified spirit and a heart for ministry, not performance.
Primary Responsibility
Provide quality music for worship services, funerals, weddings, church engagements, and other functions where musical accompaniment is needed.
Key Responsibilities-Spiritual & Musical Excellence
- Demonstrate a biblical understanding of worship music, recognizing the distinction between worship ministry and performance/concert musicianship
- Maintain a heart for worship, serving, and unity within the team and church
- Understand and respond to musical dynamics (building intensity, bringing down energy, playing softly, embracing "less is more," flowing in a spirit-led manner)
Performance & Preparation
- Set up and perform for live audiences, including Sunday morning services and Wednesday services
- Practice independently and daily to ensure thorough preparation for all services and rehearsals
- Attend all rehearsals and studio sessions punctually
- Learn assigned songs, tempos, and arrangements with excellence
Collaboration & Leadership
- Follow the Music Minister's direction as they translate the church's musical and ministry needs
- Respond positively to feedback and recommendations
- Network and collaborate effectively with other singers, musicians, and ministry professionals
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Accompany the Church/Pastor on speaking engagements as needed
Administrative Responsibilities
- Arrange for qualified replacements during absences
- Demonstrate excellent time management and reliability
- Maintain passion and dedication to the ministry
Required Qualifications
- Proficient keyboard/organ skills with ability to play various musical styles
- Biblical understanding of worship and its purpose
- Strong work ethic with commitment to independent practice and preparation
- Willingness to learn, grow, and receive constructive feedback
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining individual excellence
- Servant's heart and desire to minister through music

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per week
