Duties
- Lead the planning and organization of musical performances, concerts, and events from conception through execution.
- Manage relationships with artists, performers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members including stage crew, technical staff, and supporting personnel to foster a cohesive and motivated team environment.
- Oversee technical aspects such as sound engineering, stage setup, lighting design, and equipment management to guarantee high-quality productions.
- Develop schedules, budgets, and logistical plans for all music programs while maintaining efficiency and adherence to deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with artists and team members to coordinate rehearsals, sound checks, and performance details.
- Monitor event operations in real-time to address any issues promptly and ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Promote a positive team culture by providing ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and innovative practices to continually enhance program quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing musical or entertainment events with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong teaching ability with a passion for developing talent at all levels of experience.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with artists, team members, vendors, and audiences.
- Demonstrated mentoring capabilities to support team growth and skill enhancement.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sound engineering, stage management, lighting design or related technical skills is preferred. Not required.
- A proactive attitude with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
