At Allegro Music & Dance, we’re passionate about helping students of all ages discover the joy of music. Our studio serves families from preschoolers through adults, offering a warm, professional, and fun environment where teachers thrive and make a real impact. We believe teaching is performance, coaching, and connection all in one.
What you’ll do
- Teach private lessons (30- or 60-minute) in your instrument (piano, guitar, voice, violin, or drums) to students of various ages and levels.
- Prepare and track student progress, help with performance/recital preparation.
- Communicate assignments and progress with students/families, maintain studio equipment and materials.
- Attend occasional studio meetings and participate in our recital/performance events.
- Uphold professional and friendly relationships with students, families, and staff; be punctual, reliable, and flexible.
What you bring
- University training or equivalent professional training in your instrument preferred.
- Teaching experience in private lessons (student age 5-adult).
- Professional performing experience or equivalent music industry credentials.
- Love of teaching, patience, strong communication skills, ability to motivate students.
- Reliable transportation (if applicable) and ability to commit to a regular weekly schedule.
- Must pass background check before hire.
