Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Private Music Teacher to inspire students of all ages through personalized instruction in various musical instruments (Piano, Violin, Viola, Guitar, Drums etc.) and vocal techniques.
As a MusicMi Teacher, you will design engaging lesson plans, adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles, and create a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages growth and confidence in every student.
Duties
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level, musical interests, and learning goals, incorporating curriculum development best practices.
- Conduct one-on-one lessons in your instrument/s.
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, or performances by guiding practice routines and stage presence techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and attendance to ensure organized and effective instruction.
Qualifications
- Some experience in teaching music with a strong emphasis on working with students of different ages and skill levels.
- Knowledge of various musical genres and proficiency in multiple instruments or vocal coaching is preferred.
- Ability to commute to student's homes for lessons.
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
