Career Success Schools (CSS) is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join our team. Classroom teachers at CSS create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel valued and motivated to succeed. The Music Teacher will inspire students through music education, fostering creativity, expression, and appreciation for the arts while supporting academic and personal growth.
- Plan and deliver music instruction aligned with curriculum and student needs (in-person and virtual)
- Teach fundamental music concepts including rhythm, melody, harmony, and performance
- Incorporate vocal and/or instrumental instruction into lessons
- Develop engaging activities such as performances, projects, and collaborative work
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain an organized, safe, and productive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with students and families regarding progress
- Implement classroom management and restorative practices
- Collaborate with staff and participate in school initiatives
- Support school events, performances, and showcases as appropriate
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Arizona Teaching Certificate (Music or related field)
- Bilingual
- Experience with Project-Based Learning
- Experience with virtual and in-person instruction
- 3+ years of teaching experience
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations
