Position Summary:
Provides skilled repairs, overhauls, adjustments, and preventative maintenance to woodwind, brass, and percussion musical instruments and instrument cases. Completes service and repair work in accordance with NEMC’s quality control standards.

- Service and repair rental fleet and customer owned instruments
- Diagnose damage and performance problems across a wide range of instruments
- Collaborative with other professionals in a fun, engaging environment
- Help coach and train new techs enrolled in our apprenticeship program

What we’re looking for:
- Prior experience as an instrument repair technician (required)
- An organized, motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their work
- A strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of a computer.
Physical Demand & Work Effort:
- Able to perform physical work on all types of musical instruments, including manual dent work; moving tools and equipment.
- Able to sit, stand, and working at a repair shop bench for long periods of time.
- Able to comply with company attendance standards.
