Board Certified Music Therapist
Music Therapists are responsible for providing music therapy services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages who are receiving services in family homes and supported living settings funded through the Family Support Waiver (FSW) or the Community Integration Habilitation Waiver (CIH). Job duties will include conducting on-going individual music therapy sessions, individual assessment, creating treatment plans, engaging in training sessions with caregivers and parents, monitoring treatment, and being an active participant of the individuals support team. Music Therapists must also write and maintain all client records including all treatment programs and assessments, progress reports, billing forms, and any other required documents. Services are provided in our facility and/or home settings; some travel is required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board Certified Music Therapist
- Bachelor’s degree is Music Therapy
- Certification by the National Association of Music Therapists
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is required (1 Year).
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal and written abilities
- Ability to work independently and have strong organizational skills
This position is based in Hancock County, Indiana but will have the potential to serve the surrounding counties.
Pay: $38.00 - $47.00 per hour
