Studio Coordinator
The studio coordinator is the welcoming face and general day-to-day admin of our music school.
We are looking for someone with a background in scheduling and billing that is able to handle customer relations in person, email and on the phone.
With the help of the GM, the studio coordinator keeps on top of the logistical needs of the school with spreadsheet management and therefore, must be computer apt.
We pride ourselves on being a fun, rock n' roll music school with community at the forefront. The candidate should reflect our values with an infectious energy while working in a fast-moving environment. Being able to adapt and problem solve with positivity is a must as this position will often need confident leadership.
Hours
Monday & Tuesday: 1pm-9pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 3pm-9pm
Saturday: 9am-2/3pm
However, there may be some flexibility with what days can be 1-9pm or 3-9pm shifts. Occasionally, we may have events that may be outside of these hours. These will be pre-planned events that the studio coordinator will have ample notice to decide if they want the extra hours or swap them with their regular hours.
Compensation and Bonuses
Compensation will range from a starting point of between $20-22, based on experience and likelihood of longevity. Extra bonuses may be given throughout the year based on reaching targets set.
At this moment, this is a part-time position and we will not be offering health, dental or vision insurance. However, as the school continues to grow, there is a likelihood that this will become a full-time position with benefits and yearly pay rises. We offer no PTO and up to 15 days off per calendar year.
Staff can also benefit from our in-school masseuse, discounts on gear and lessons for immediate family.

School of Rock is the leader of performance-based music education with around 400 schools worldwide and growing. We pride ourselves on giving all of our students the opportunity to use the stage as a teacher. For students 8 years and older (including adults), we offer private and group lessons in a warm, supportive environment that encourages musical and personal growth. Our program includes opportunities for live shows throughout the year that helps our students excel as well as being a fantastic community builder.
We also provide regular group lessons for kids between the ages of 3 - 7 with musical fundamentals and games with a rock n' roll attitude!
