Community Christian Church is looking for the right person, or the correct combination of people to lead our Worship Ministry. We are remaining flexible on one full-time or a full-time & part-time team or 2 part-time people.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Worship Pastor to lead our worship ministry. This individual will be responsible for crafting meaningful worship experiences, developing and mentoring worship teams, overseeing technical aspects of services, and collaborating with the Creative Arts Pastor to align worship with our mission and values. The ideal candidate is passionate about Jesus and leading worship, skilled in leading and developing teams, and wants to serve as part of a ministry staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead Worship Services:
Plan and direct engaging worship sessions for Sunday services and special events, guiding the congregation in heartfelt worship.
● Develop Worship Teams:
Recruit, train, and mentor musicians, vocalists, and technical volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence, unity, and disciple musicians in their spiritual growth.
● Oversee Technical Operations:
Manage all technical components of worship, including audio, visual, lighting, and live streaming, ensuring seamless execution.
● Collaborate on Worship Planning:
Work closely with the Lead Pastor and Creative Arts Pastor and other leaders to design worship experiences that complement sermons and church initiatives.
● Select Music:
Choose and arrange songs that resonate with the congregation, balancing new and familiar pieces to enhance worship.
● Conduct Rehearsals:
Organize and lead regular rehearsals, ensuring teams are well-prepared and confident.
● Manage Stage and Equipment:
Ensure the stage is prepared, and all equipment is maintained and operational for services and events.
● Engage in Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on worship trends and technologies, integrating new ideas to enrich the worship experience.
Qualifications:
● Spiritual Maturity:
Demonstrated commitment to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
● Musical Proficiency:
Skilled in vocal and/or instrumental worship leading, with the ability to create chord charts and song arrangements.
● Leadership Experience:
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams of volunteers.
● Technical Aptitude:
Familiarity with worship and production software (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter) and basic audio/visual equipment management.
● Collaborative Spirit:
Ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers, embodying a servant-hearted attitude.
● Innovative Mindset:
Willingness to explore and implement new ideas to enhance worship.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
