Hours Primary Duties and
Responsibilities: The Faculty Fellow Program is a two-yearinitiative aimed at supporting new faculty members who have recently earned aPh.D. or terminal degree. The program focuses on helping faculty with minimalteaching experience build portfolios that promote hope, unity, and a sense ofbelonging in the classroom.
- Teach two to three courses per semester in the College assigned.
- Perform all functions related to the management of coursework in higher education, including:
creation of new curriculum, teaching in classroom or laboratory experiences, establishing assessment tools, and evaluation of coursework. - Conduct an original research project.
- Provide sound input as a faculty member in the assigned program.
- Abide by all relevant university and/or departmental procedures and policies.

Required EducationDoctoral degree or equivalent terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline is required.
Required ExperienceTeaching experience is preferred.
