Lefty Jones Band (www.leftyjonesband.com) is looking for someone with experience in on-line music promotion to shop a large catalogue of recorded original music to music surpervisors for film, as well as to well-known artists looking for original songs to cover. This is primarily on-line work involving browsing data-bases for people looking for original music, and then submitting it, following up, etc. Telephone social skills also important.
Need someone who is creative and can think outside of the box a bit. It is very difficult to place original music and it can require some creative strategic thinking.
This music is largely in the folk/Americana/Roots/traditional genres.
We are looking for someone who has experience with this, and definitely :NO REPUBLICANS!!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.81 - $28.68 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
