This podcast is a modern conversation at the intersection of sports, music, and culture.
Hosted by Rashawn Franklin, the show breaks down the biggest stories across the NFL, NBA, college football, and college basketball—while connecting them to the music, personalities, and cultural moments shaping the world around the game. From playoff pressure and player legacies to soundtracks, trends, and real-life narratives, the show goes beyond scores and headlines.
If sports don’t stop when the game ends—and culture matters just as much as competition—this is the show.
Sports. Music. Culture.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a co-host with a strong point of view, on-mic confidence, and deep knowledge of sports and culture to help anchor weekly conversations.
This is an unpaid, growth-stage opportunity designed for someone with experience who wants:
- A real platform
- Creative input and ownership
- Consistent, meaningful output
- A chance to help build something from the ground up
Important: This role is not paid at this time. The show is independently produced and actively working toward monetization. The expectation is that this role grows into paid opportunities as the platform scales.
What You’ll Do
- Co-host a weekly flagship podcast episode
- React to and debate major sports and culture stories
- Bring original ideas, takes, and cultural context to discussions
- Help shape recurring segments and the overall tone of the show
- Participate occasionally in light prep or promotion (e.g., social clips, topic planning)
Who You Are
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Have clear opinions and can articulate them confidently
- Are comfortable with disagreement and debate on-mic
- Understand sports and the culture around them
- Can connect athletics to music, identity, money, power, and society
- Have experience in podcasting, radio, media, journalism, content creation, or live discussion
- Want a real shot at building something—not just a title
A large following isn’t required. Perspective, credibility, and consistency matter more.
Time Commitment
- 1–2 in person/remote recording sessions per week
- Light prep ahead of episodes
- Flexible scheduling; reliability is key
What You’ll Get
- A featured on-air role on a growing platform
- Creative input and recurring voice
- Credit and exposure across audio and social channels
- A chance to sharpen your voice and expand your audience
- Opportunity to grow into paid roles as the show monetizes
How to Apply
Please include:
- A short note on why this opportunity interests you
- Links to any relevant work (podcasts, videos, writing, or social content—optional but encouraged)
We’re looking for someone who believes in the vision and wants to help build—not just show up.
