Rise Up Music Group is expanding and looking for motivated A&Rs to help us continue scaling what we’re building — an affordable, professional artist management platform for independent artists.
This is a remote hybrid role:
- Most work can be done from anywhere
- Local, in-person networking is required
- Ideal for self-starters who are natural connectors
What This Role Is
This is not a call-center job and not a traditional sales role.
As an A&R with Rise Up Music Group, your primary responsibility is to:
- Network with independent artists in your local area
- Start genuine conversations
- Identify artists who are serious about their career
- Introduce them to our management services
If you’re the type of person who:
- Naturally starts conversations
- Knows how to build relationships
- Is already tapped into your local music scene
This role will feel natural.
Work Setup (Remote Hybrid)
- Majority of work is remote
- Requires:
- Reliable internet
- Laptop
- Phone
- Networking must be done in person locally, including:
- Studios
- Events
- Showcases
- Creative spaces
- Artist communities
This is not an online-only position.

Consistency matters more than experience.
Compensation
- Commission-based (1099)
- Earn $2400 signing bonus per artist signed (annually) + up to 10% of gross revenue
- Subscription-based model
- Income compounds over time as your artist base grows
- No cap on earnings
A&Rs see meaningful income growth after their first 60–90 days as consistency, referrals, and networking compound.
