Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guitar Instructor to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guitar performance and teaching, with the ability to engage students of all ages and skill levels. This role involves developing lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and musical expression.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
- Teach guitar techniques, music theory, and performance skills in a supportive learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to enhance their musical abilities.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and foster community engagement.
- Travel to students' homes to provide lessons.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching guitar or related musical instruments, preferably with children or young adults.
- Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for music education.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students through engaging instruction.
- A passion for music education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in students.
