Overview
We are seeking a passionate Music Therapist to join our team. As a Music Therapist, you will use music interventions to address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group music therapy sessions
- Incorporate various music therapy techniques such as dance therapy, art therapy, and behavioral therapy
- Work with individuals with disabilities, children, and individuals struggling with addiction or dementia
- Provide counseling and support through music to enhance emotional well-being
- Implement group therapy sessions focusing on different therapeutic goals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy or related field
- Certification in Music Therapy
- Experience working with diverse populations including people with disabilities, children, and individuals with behavioral health needs
- Familiarity with dementia care and addiction counseling is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,355.00 - $63,720.00 per year
